Today we’re across the Hudson on the West Side of New York City experiencing some amazing military and maritime history at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The Intrepid has a decorated history of naval service and is now decommissioned and permanently anchored on the city’s west side. Eric Boehm is the Curator of Aviation at the museum for almost 15 years, and he’s here with us now to tell us a little more about the aircraft onboard and how they came to be there.
